Today, in our first experimentation class, we were introduced to the fine arts project, we were taught the excuses of the contemporary art and the manners of working in this new emphasis. Also, we learned about Digital painting, a new form of doing art consisted in painting and making it look digital. We were also teached about different references like Gerard Ritcher (1933), Lari Pittman (1952) and Gary Hume (1962). And finally we experimented with this form of painting by recreating this image with post-its'
In this experimentation class, we learned how to do stencil painting. We were taught to find an good image, print it, cut it with the appropriate technique and then stain it with the spray can and we were given references like Banksy. To experiment, we did our own stencil, doing it in one color, two colors and mixed colors.
In this experimentation class, we learned a new form of painting technique, Hydro Dipping. It consists in sipping paintings in water, then put the paper over it so the painting gets printed in it. You can do combinations in colors, shapes and techniques like painting the paper with spray before printing in it, this technique can even be applied in objects.
In this experimentation class, we changed the excuse to the object uses and transformations and we learned about contemporary sculpture. This new form of art involves the modification and intervention of more than one object to put it together with different others, creating a sculpture. Depending on the message that is intended to be sent there can be played with the scale of the sculpture compared to human beings and the space or the place. We experimented by building our own sculptures and we were given references like Man Ray, Claes Oldenburg or Tatsuya Takanaka.
In this experimentation class we were taught about the collage, a new form of painting that consists in the assembly of images to create a defined image with an excuse.
